THDC, Tehri – New still better (a review)

Ad-block

THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology (or simply THDC, tehri) is the most promising govt. engineering college among the all new govt. colleges. THDC is located in a great location in TEHRI. Unlike other new govt. colleges it has its own building. The college building is of course new and well-constructed. They have the great chance to increase its reputation and stand among old colleges like BTKIT, Dwarahat or GBPEC, pauri.

The one important thing about this college is that it is not fully govern by UKTU. It is govern by THDC itself. So, don’t hesitate to take this college. This college is surely good one.

THDC, tehri offers 5 branches in it which are as follows:

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

B.Tech Civil Engineering

B.Tech Electrical Engineering

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering.

60 seats per branch.

Quality of Education: As per our reviews and various feedbacks we came to know that the quality of education is quite good. They always complete course in time as compared to other govt. colleges, course completion is a major problem.

Hostel: In starting year TDHC didn’t have any hostels but now they have build new hostels with good facilities.

Placement: As 1st batch of THDC is not out yet, It will be too early to say about placement. But students of THDC say that they were told by the management that they will always get preference in getting placement in THDC sector. This seems to be something promising than other new colleges.
